What's covered
01
The QBO Dashboard

Your home base in QuickBooks. We'll tour every section so you understand what you're looking at the moment you log in. Bank balances, outstanding invoices, bills due, and your financial snapshot at a glance.

02
Chart of Accounts

The backbone of your bookkeeping. You'll learn the five account types, how the chart of accounts is organized, and why every transaction you enter connects back to this list.

03
Customers & Vendors

Who owes you money and who you owe, and why that distinction matters for every transaction you enter. We'll look at real customer and vendor records in Craig's demo.

04
Connecting Your Bank

A brief introduction to the bank feed. How QBO connects directly to your bank and why that's the foundation of the reconciliation process we cover in Session 2.

05
Entering Transactions

We'll walk through creating an invoice and recording an expense, the two most common transactions in any service-based business. You'll see exactly where to click and what each field means.

06
Running Your First Reports

Pull a Profit & Loss and a Balance Sheet, understand what each one tells you, and learn how to drill down into the numbers behind the report. This is where it all comes together.

I teach QuickBooks the way a business owner would explain it because that's what I am. I've managed the books for my own business for 30 years and I know exactly where the confusion comes from.

Most training for QBO focuses on features. I focus on the workflow or logic that connects one screen to the next, and why it matters for your specific business.

No question is too basic in my sessions. The things that feel embarrassing to ask are usually the things everyone else in the room is wondering too.
